Amazon Web Services
New York Summer 2024

This past summer I worked with Amazon AWS on their Cloudformation GitSync team. During my twelve week internship, I worked on a project that aimed to bridge a gap between AWS CloudFormation and Elastic Container Registry (ECR) services. My primary contribution was developing a system that automatically syncs container images between the two services. I designed and implemented a DynamoDB table with an API for storing and interacting with the necessary data, and built a poller to periodically check for updated container image versions. Additionally, I ensured the feature was versatile enough to be expanded for use with other AWS services in the future. This project not only alleviated a known issue for CloudFormation engineers but also provided a scalable solution for future development.
Capcom
Osaka Summer 2023

During my time at Capcom, I was a part of their Technical Research Department (known as 技研部) working on their proprietary game engine, RE Engine. As an intern, the focus of my project was to engineer and fine-tune developer tools within the RE Engine, ensuring seamless integration by development teams. Accomplishing this also required mastering the ins and out of RE Engine from the perspective of a developer, which was done through in-depth study and practical application. Additionally, I enhanced code optimization techniques to achieve peak performance in high-demand scenarios for various Capcom projects.
